The Filson Tin Cloth Field Coat with Zipper is an improvement on the tried-and-true Field Coat. It's adaptable, functional and durable.
Features
Water and wind resistant oil finish Tin Cloth outer shell.
Interior patch pockets at each shoulder that accept a Limbsaver TPRS Recoil pad (sold separately.
New antenna loops with sewn-on Tin Cloth loops for hand held clip-on transmitters.
Lanyard security loops inside the front game bag pockets.
Lower front bellows pockets each feature six shell loops.
Fabric: 12.5-oz. 100% cotton oil finish Tin Cloth

Filson quality is present as usual. This coat wears way too short. This affects the function of this coat. Once game is added to the internal game bag the zipper, unzips from the bottom up causing an extreme annoyance.

In January 2010 I ordered the Filson Tin Cloth Field Coat with zipper. Since then I’ve used it when hunting in South-Central Texas. While there are not a lot of opportunities due to our warm weather to wear this jacket, it is the best field coat I’ve purchased for the quail and dove hunts on the occasion it is cold. I’ve used the Filson products for over 30 years and have never had a problem. Simply put, the Filson product sold by Uplanders Warehouse is purely the best!
