I have always used traditional vests in the past. I decided to try out this Browning strap type vest and love it. I don't think I'd go back to a normal vest after using this. The front pockets are great because they are very big. I use the pockets for shells because I've never been a huge fan of individual shell holders. However, the shell holders can flip inside the big pocket as well as outside. I like this because it prevents shells from dropping out of the individual holders. I'd highly recommend this. It is very good quality.
